My journey into entrepreneurship began after I was diagnosed with a chronic illness, which inspired me to turn my passion for crafting into a thriving business. I take pride if offering high-quality, premium craft blanks that allow fellow crafters to unleash their creativity and create beautiful, one of a kind peices.

Hey there, my name is Rae!!  I am the artist and owner here at the Cutting Edge Craft Studio. I am so glad that you are here!  

A little back story on the the Cutting Edge Craft Studio.  In 2019, I got sick with chronic vertigo. I couldn't work, could barely walk, was literally stuck in bed for months.  I felt so alone and depressed.  I bought a Cricut and started designing, creating and painting as a form of self therapy.  Art was and is so healing to me!  Fast forward a year later and the pandemic hit.  Suddenly the world was virtual, and I finally felt included again!  The pandemic gave me the idea to make art more accessible to others like myself who are stuck at home, and so the Dizzy Designer was born. In 2021 I bought my first laser and started offering DIY craft blanks. Then in 2022 I purchased by second industrial laser and started a second business, LakeShore Engraving where I offered custom engraving for local businesses and sports teams. After operating under those names as separate business for a couple of years we have decided to bring it all together and have now re-branded to the Cutting Edge Craft Studio.

I now offer DIY blanks and custom laser engraved items as well as sublimation.

When I am not homeschooling my son or running the business I like to spend time with my family, read or take a walk.
